Welcome to the Department of Education and Skills Energy in Schools website. This website will allow schools to stay updated with regards to energy efficiency opportunities in schools and to help you to reduce your energy consumption.

On the left you will find links to the Display Energy Certificate website. There is also a link to recent publications from the Department of Education and Science that may be of interest.

The Display Energy Certificate (DEC) Website provides schools with a free method of certifying the energy rating of their school in order to comply with the EPBD legislation. More information on this can be found within the website itself. A download of the input data required by this website and directions regarding how to obtain this information can be downloaded on page 1 of the DEC Input section.
